so i searched around but i'm can't seem to come up with the right terms to find what i'm looking for.
i've been using the built in gps on my storm more and more lately thanks to the likes of google maps, garmin, got-2, and trapster. but leaving it on all the time is defiantly killing the battery. especially since i'm indoors most of the time.
is there a quick way to turn the gps on and off from the home screen? similar to changing the profile. going through the menus is really cumbersome.
If there is no application open using the GPS then there is no need to turn it off as it does not drain the battery. Just shut down google maps and the others and it will be fine.
I know what you're asking for, but I haven't seen anything like it. To be honest, I wish there was a "close all open apps" app. Had something like that on my windows mobile PPC a few years back.
