Does anyone know if it is possible to video chat (through skype for example) on a laptop connected to the internet using a T Mobile 8320 as a tethered modem?

I just finished setting up my berry as a modem, and I am excited to know if video chatting is possible using this connection.

I would be concerned about bandwidth and latency. T-Mobile's EDGE network probably does not have enough bandwidth for decent video. No harm in trying, though.

You can definitely chat using skype but has Nick mentioned with EDGE it ain't going to be that good mate. I use skype all the time whether it be my mobile as a modem or a data card over HSDPA.

I don't think you will have enough bandwidth, live video would look like crap.
