I downloaded Palringo in order to be able to use facebook chat.

Its a good app but is there anyway of being notified of a new message other than that annoying beep which my boss is getting highly annoyed with?

When chatting everytime you receive a message it beeps!

Ideally it would be good if there was a notification icon or for the led to flash as it does with the normal facebook app for example...

Is this poss at all.

That's the one thing I didn't like about the application. If I can recall, you had the option of either beep or vibrate notification.

Cheers for the input. Iv been into settings and only have the option to have the beep on or off but no vibrate....

Yep a notification icon on the homescreen would be best ie: like on the actual facebook mobile app.
I have moved my facebook app icon onto my homescreen so can instantly see when I receive any kind of notif/message etc...

Surely someone is onto this...

I downloaded Palringo but I can't seem to add new services such as MSN and Facebook, I can't select the option as its grey what do I do?
