im trynna put dopewars in my BB 8300, i downloaded the software on my computer (cuz its in .zip form), but what next? if i hook up my BB to my computer, where do i drag my folder to?

you gotta unzip it, then use the application loader, once it opens, click ADD, and you will see the .alx file to load up..

what if i did that and when i selected the .alx file it sez no addition application was found?? perhaps i downloaded the wrong one?

Log into T-Mobile's web site and download the device software for the 8300 and install it. Make sure you download the same version that is on your phone. You can check by going to Options > About. The third line down will have a version number.

nope, you need to install the handheld OS to your PC.


to get your Handhel OS, options>about.
It will be a 4.2.2.xxx number. Then go HERE
And dl the correct OS. click it, once the DL is done, and you will get the OS installed to your PC, and all should be good from there.


Also, if you have an 8300, then it's obviously unlocked, so go to the provider that it was locked to, and DL their OS.

If its the 8320, then go to the TMo site, and DL the matching OS from there
