Question about replacing the housing
Hi everyone. I just replaced the housing on my 8330. After doing so, I have noticed that the bottom edge of the lens (right about the trackball) is not flush with the trackball ring. It sits a little higher, and I can't remember if it did the same thing on the original housing or if I didn't get it installed right....can anyone tell me that?

there are a bunch of threads in the 83xx forum that address the bulge issue. i dont have a link on me, but any of the "housing change" threads can point you in the right direction.SmartPhones are only as smart as the people who use them

The 83XX forum is a good place to look, but it's a common problem that some of the replacement housings for the 83XX series have a foam gasket that's slightly larger than the OEM gasket, causing the faceplate to sit slightly higher.
