Default Question about replacing the housing

Hi everyone. I just replaced the housing on my 8330. After doing so, I have noticed that the bottom edge of the lens (right about the trackball) is not flush with the trackball ring. It sits a little higher, and I can't remember if it did the same thing on the original housing or if I didn't get it installed right....can anyone tell me that?

    Thanks!

there are a bunch of threads in the 83xx forum that address the bulge issue. i dont have a link on me, but any of the "housing change" threads can point you in the right direction.

The 83XX forum is a good place to look, but it's a common problem that some of the replacement housings for the 83XX series have a foam gasket that's slightly larger than the OEM gasket, causing the faceplate to sit slightly higher.
