    hello all. I have a question about the COM Ports. For some reason I am not about to connect to the COM port 3. I was wondering what I'm doing that it isn't connecting. I have my phone plugged into the computer but no connection thru the COM ports. Any help? I'm kinda of a newbie, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Uh, it's USB. Not a COM port (RS 232) connection.

    control panel>hardware>device manager>ports. see where your storm is located.
