Default A question about BlackBerry Balance

Just read Adam's article about BlackBerry Balance :

Article Title: 10 Weeks of BlackBerry 10: BlackBerry Balance
Link: 10 Weeks of BlackBerry 10: BlackBerry Balance | CrackBerry.com
    crackberry.com

My question is: If the company doesn't have mobile fusion, can we use BlackBerry Balance to separate the work and private stuff?

Still don't have a Dropbox account?

I'd love to be able to use Balance on my BB without having it controlled by an IT dept.

it's a great feature that would be great for "normal" BB users, those that don't have their company's IT dept controlling their phone.

I was thinking the same thing - would love this feature, but only if I can control it myself. . .

Would like a total "guest"partition for my balance. They can make calls, browse internet, use apps.

What they cannot do on other side of balance:

    View or compose text messages
View or compose emails from accounts on other side of balance
View call log from other side
    View contacts from other side
Hub is enabled only with things specifically downloaded on that side
View internet history and favourites from other side
View pictures, videos, voicenotes, any other media from other side
Google does not start predicting words you searched for on other side
    Cannot do anything with bbm
Any apps like google talk other such are not showing your logins from other side

    ...and more

Basically a phone you could hand a stranger on the other side of balance and they couldnt find out one bit about you but can still use the device. Essentially a new phone on he other side no matter how long you have used your main balance half.

A snoop proof partition. I could stop worrying she will find out my blackbook app password.
    Phones: Nokia 5110>Nokia 3360>Siemens C56>Moto RAZR>LG Chocolate>Pearl 8100>Bold 9000 > Bold 9900 > Z10 > Aristo
    Tablets: 16GB Playbook > Playbook 32GB + Playbook 16GB > ???

The trouble is, it's so easy to switch between the two sides of Balance, so easy that a stranger could accidentally stumble upon it (all you have to do is swipe down from the app grid). Of course, it's better than NOT having a separate partition.

My understanding is that you can put a password on balance changing

Default A question about BlackBerry Balance

You can experience the Balance perimeters on the PlayBook today. In adding an enterprise e-mail account - Balance is then @ play & setup on the device without Mobile Fusion in place.
