    Hey all,

I'm on Bell with my Q10. If I switched over to a unlocked or Bell Z10, all I would have to do to bring over my sim card from the Q10 to the Z10 right?

I believe so.! If you have not purchased the z10, look at the z30. Much improved battery life, better screen real estate, OTG, Miracast. Not to say the z10 isn't good, just found it a little battery short for long work days. Enjoy.

Yup sim card exchange between bb10 devices is relatively easy. Both devices use micro sim cards. On the other hand with older legacy devices you would have to either cut the sim card or purchase a new micro one from bell. Sometimes they'll give it to you for free and even transfer your contacts for no cost at all. Depends your luck I guess. Also I highly recommend the z30 if you are upgrading phones.

Would I also have to back up my Q10 (BELL) and load it on the Z10 as well to get my contacts and such over? The z10 will be unlocked or with bell.

You can transfer contacts between your Q10 and Z10 via NFC. See thread below for instructions.

First turn on NFC on both devices.
    Open Contacts.
Long press the first contact until it turns blue and then select the bottom box on the right side menu with a check mark in it.
Proceed to tap all contacts you want to send over turning them blue.
Then select the bottom share icon on the right.
    Select NFC.
Tap the back of both devices together until they vibrate.
    Wait.

But if I wanted to just backup the Q10 and reload it on my Z10 that would be okay too right?
