So I popped on over to shop blackberry right now just for sh!ts and giggles.
And what do I notice, No option for the Q10 or Z10 on their phones for sale page:

    BlackBerry Unlocked Smartphones - ShopBlackBerry.com

Also If you scroll over to select by device, They are also not listed. Only accessories

Whats going on, any one know?.

Maybe they've chosen to list only items they have for sale? I don't think the Z3 has ever been listed and it's relatively new and still available in some regions.

I think a classics is better than a Q10, and a Z30 better than Z10, should be my choice...

Both devices are very old so you shouldn't be surprised at this point. They are like the Galaxy S III.

Z10 still for sale at Staples in Canada while supplies last. So it is probably out of production.

Mine is still going strong, EOL or not.

Yes, and it was never listed on the shopblackberry.com site, so does that mean it's the end-of-life for it? As others have said, the Z10/Q10 is old now. It's not surprising that they're end-of-life, but what's stocked at shopblackberry.com isn't proof that they are.

I was thinking it would be different access for the site dependent on the region that you are in.

kinda like how there is a ebay uk ebay canada ebay germany etc.
So say you were from india where the Z3 was primarily launched IIRC, the site would know that and load the product line up for that region.

Well, for shopblackberry.com, if you change the Region in the menu at the top, United States/Canada/United Kingdom/France/Deutschland, you'll see that United Kingdom still offers both the Z10/Q10 and France and Deutschland, the Q10.

Basically, store availability, or lack there of, doesn't indicate end-of-life.

    Yes.

EOL is commonly understood as "End-of-Life" with regards to support and (software) updates, so even the Bold 9900 is not EOL yet. :-)

The carriers' definition might be different, because they are much more likely to see the "sales" side of things ...

The Z10 and Q10 are both now two years old. I wouldn't be surprised if they are now EOL.

I noticed that the z10's been off shopblackberry for a while now.. pretty sure since the end of November-ish when they had that huge sale. I can see both the Q10 and Z10 being software supported for years to come though really. I mean they just released the classic that has similar specs to the Q10 so why not.

Old phone isn't sold anymore. News at 11.

The new OS makes my Z10 much better than new. If you can find a cheap one it is now a good buy.
