When I try and start google maps I get a verification error and it won't start. I've tried reinstalling it several times.

I am having the same problem. Not only that I think it has messed with the GPS itself as it seems to not be able to find sat's now.

Found out the prob. You have to go to the dl link on the defualt browser to dl it, not click on the link with opera and have that open the defualt browser to dl it. For some reason that made a difference.

That is the norm for anything you want to download over the air on your BB. The default BB Browser identifies your phone model and vendor to the web site. Opera Mini is not able to do that.

If you are curious, it looks like this: BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100

And Opera Mini looks like: Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.10031/264; U; en)

Right but with other things when I click on the link with opera it opens the defualt browser and then I dl and have no probs. For some reason if ya do that to dl google maps, the google map prog won't work.
