I have come across two separate cases where contacts on my phone can recieve BBMs from me but they can't reply, they get red Xs when they try. After troubleshooting, I've found out that both contacts have the same issue with every BlackBerry 10 contact. other contacts work fine. I have tried reinstalling BBM on both devices, didn't change anything. One is a torch 9800 running OS 6 and the other is a 9900 with 7.1.

Any ideas please?

I haven't heard of this problem. I've been successfully messaging via BBM from my Z10 with friends on OS5 but my friends on OS6 and up...not many...don't BBM much.

Okay, in my case, it's just these two people that have that issue, everyone else (using the older Os) works fine.

I have the same problem after i synced my 9900 and now i can't reply to bb10 contacts on my bbm but i can receive messages from them ..
Any ideas on how to work aroud this ?
