    So I thought I would try out google maps on OS 4.5.0.69 and when I type some thing in the search field I can't see the letter/numbers that I typed. No big deal really, I was just curious if this is a normal problem or if its just my phone.

    I have the same OS and version of Google Maps and mine works... Maybe try reloading the OS?

    Try using your phone's default theme and see if it works any better. I had the same problem and it turned out to be my theme.
