I am new to Crackberry and a new BB owner. I want to participate in "pull your battery day". I just have one question. Should you turn off you BB prior to pulling the battery????

Welcome to your BB and CB.

Nope - leave your BB on, pull the battery, wait 30-60 seconds, then reinsert it. Your BB will power up and reboot.

First of all, there is no dumb question here at CrackBerry!!

Second, you leave your Berry on when you do a battery pull

Thirdly, read up on the different types of resetting : http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.p..._BlackBerry%3F

Then consider doing a "double soft" instead of battery pull
