From WH pool report, earlier today:

Before departure, President Obama walked alone along Colonnade at 10:18 a.m. before heading back into the White House. A coatless POTUS walked to Marine One at 10:31 a.m. in near freezing 33 degree F weather checking his watch and waiving to reporters before getting aboard.

Almost immediately, he got off helicopter -- as his aides were headed across lawn to Marine One. POTUS went back into the White House through the Diplomatic Room doors telling reporters: "I forgot something"

After returning, he said: "Didn't you guys ever forget something?" After some shouted questions asking what he forgotten, he held up his his phone. "My BlackBerry" he said as he returned to Marine One.

Chen needs to find a way to get a BB10 phone into his hands. Find out of he likes the slab style display or PKB, and give him a Z30 or Classic.

Maybe a 9900. The size doesn't look any bigger than that but I could certainly be wrong. Hmmm I wonder if he's ever been in these forums lol. We'll he must have if he's ever had a double typing issue. Obama googles stuff too.

Isn't his BlackBerry highly modified to the point it's not really a BlackBerry anymore?

I'm not impressed, our prime minister David Cameron has forgot his children in a pub, which... is understandable in this day and age, but there's no excuse for forgetting your BlackBerry Mr President.

Actually shows the flawed thinking in the consumer market..... as much as many high profile people due to security concerns think security..... the average consumer really does not give a flying fig about security... it is paid lip service even when all the hacking was at its peak... but did it do anything for Blackberry..... no.....probably the reason it cannot differentiate itself from the pack in the consumer market so to speak.... as business has a keen interest in security..... consumers do not.... thus Obama having a blackberry will have little or no effect... simply an amusing little news snippit that till have a 1 day life span....

I bet the right wing airwaves are nailing BHO over using some foreign phone and not a good old star spangled made in Amurrika phone. I guess it makes sense though...afterall BHO must have used BlackBerry phones in his native Kenya, right?

Something like this could be a perfect commercial for BlackBerry. Couldn't use the president's image of course.

Shows how flawed the BB marketing concept. Is. There are many who would buy a BB because of this. Heck, they could be sold a Storm.

On the other hand, it is the single greatest thing driving me towards Ubuntu or Sailfish.
