    Unhappy Poynt going bankrupt

I just saw this from several sources on Twitter. I think if they charged for Poynt they could probably keep from going under. It's one of the few apps I'd be willing to pay for as long as it isn't too expensive. I'm sure others feel the same way. I'd hate to see the Poynt app for Blackberry fade away and I definitely want to see it on BB10.

I don't think it is a matter of needing to charge the users a fee for the app.

Poynt probably gets paid when users click on the "offers nearby" and purchase those. However, restaurant/hotel deals have a lot of competition with Groupon/Foursquare/other companies.

I've never bought any of the "offers nearby" from Poynt, and I suspect that not a lot of other people have either.
