Just a fun little poll to see what crackberry members do with their phone at night when they charge.

So, do you shut down your phone and let it charge, put it in bedside mode, leave the phone on to charge (no bedside mode), or do you not even charge at night(night job?, etc).

I personally put my phone in the dock and put it in Bedside mode. I just like having the time there with the alarm clock.

Since I only use my cell phone I leave it on 24/7 and just set the profile to phone calls only at night and place it in a charging dock.

Bedside. Everything else is custom alerts for my "Sleep" profile I have setup.

I just leave it on, I'm a heavy sleeper, so I don't hear it anyways if it beeps.

Never used Bedside until I got the charging cradle a few months back. Now it is in Bedside mode every night. Love that option.

I just leave it on, though I have been thinking about getting a cradle for my bedside. I am not sure though if I'll like it.

Always use bedside mode, it sits in its charging cradle and goes on medium profile so I hear the gf text me in the morning

On 24/7 and plugged into the charger overnight. I use a profile/exception combination that only allows a few callers to ring my phone when I'm sleeping.

I leave it on and active when it's charging while I'm asleep just in case a friend or family member needs to get a hold of me.

I used to put the phone into bedside mode, but since I got extra batteries and a stand alone wall charger I've started just pulling my battery at night and putting in a fresh one in the AM.

Doing a Hard Reset gives me the added advantage of clearing the phone, optimizing memory, and ensuring all applications are shut down when I start out in the AM

In Bedside Mode in a charging cradle in the garage. The people that might need to call me in the middle of the night have my home phone. It's too distractin when I'm trying to sleep...

First buzz - probably just SPAM... Second Buzz - Hmmm, is that a coworker answering the first email with "Done" or another email coming in about some problem that's blowing up? 3rd buzz - I'm up and not sleeping and it will be nothing but 4th rate newsletters and SPAM...

Bedside mode definitely! It's one of the options which makes BB superior, IMO. All message notifications are turned off for me, only the phone is on for emergencies. You gotta love this feature!

My BlackBerry is my only phone, so it's on 24/7. I use Bedside mode and have it switch to the "phone calls only" profile. I can't stand all the spam emails and drunk messages from friends at 4am, they know to call if it's an emergency.

I'm with ridesno159 on this one. Bedside mode with phone calls only profile, don't need the drunk friend texting me, or the spam email that only seems to come at night.

charging in bedside mode, but not even in my bedroom. It's downstairs, busily DLing podcasts via PodTrapper at night......
