Just joined this site and will get my BB 8300 tomorrow, with data plan.
My question is is it possible to use the same sim card and data plan for multiple BB's? I can get a 8800 (unlocked) and was wondering if you can swap simcard from phone to phone, as you can with regular cell phones?
    Thanks in advance!

    p.s. Love this site

So - just to clarify: you can change the SIM into the new BB (assuming it is unlocked or locked to the same carrier) and it will work straight away without having to register a new EMEI number, etc. with your server administrator?

If I use my sim from my bb8800 and swap it into a 8310, what needs to be done to have email working on both BB's?
BTW I'm not using BES, but BIS on Rogers Canada

    Thanks everyone

you have to login the BIS website and change the pin and imei number to the new berry. It doesn't automatically switch your push email to your new berry unless you change it on the website.

I recently got a free bb 8700. I was using a pearl before.....and when I switched sim cards, it was as simple as going to the "set up internet email" icon. It asked me if I wanted to reconfigure my email for the new PIN. I said yes, and voila! Emails were flowing within minutes...

    Try that?

Guess you could do that too. I'd rather do it on the website

if you did swap Berrys, could you sync both Berry PINS with the same DM or would that be a problem?

you can use two different berrys with one DM (on 1 pc)...atleast I've not had any trouble with it switching from an 8700 to a curve.
