Default Is it possible to make your phone appear overseas to other callers?

Hello techno gods, another muppet question from me.

Is it possible to make your phone appear overseas to other callers? I know some networks offer ringtags with themes etc but I wondered if there was a method of appearing elsewehere.

    Many thanks
    Chris

The best way is making its caller ID "private number"

That's the only way I personally no.

What I think your doing may just be impossible.

Apologies, I should have been clearer.

I want people calling me to hear an overseas ringtone.

The phone ringing sound you hear when calling somebody is provided by the wired phone network/switch not the cell phone. If an optional ring was available, it would be something through your carrier, not the phone.

unless the user can find a ringback tone of a euro tone and apply it through the carriers ringback tone option (if they have one).

Rinback tones are one of the most annoying things in the world.
