Porsche Designed BlackBerry -- Yay or Nay?

A lot of people called the phone hideous, but I somewhat like it.

What do you peeps out there think? Please vote, I'm curious to see the feedback on the design.

firstly it should be pointed out i dot think the image on the CB blogs is `the` real image, as i know the 9980 is running OS7 (iv been seeing this for a while as the 9981 on my website). with that said, i still aint too fussed, however look at most `designer` phones (samsung did some emporio armani ones) and they never look that great lol.

Ehh, it looks alright, I don't think it's as bad as everyone says. It's kinda cool in a weird sort of way. I'm ready to see one in the CB Celebrity Weekly photo thingy...

I don't think it's "Ugly as Sin" But I couldn't see myself buying one (yet). It seems like it's one of those devices you aren't to sure about, but eventually starts growing on you.

The brushed aluminum is killing it IMO. If it were all black, might not look as bad, but still nothing I would ever own.

I can see people that have money buying it just to have it and others because it is rare.

who knows, it may grow on me. Also not real sure how well the flat KB would work.

Most definitely a no for me. It doesn't look like what I've come to identify as BlackBerry. It looks like some retro 70's gadget that they thought would come out in 2000. Maybe you'd find it in the Jetsons' world.

If this phone is real and it is geared to the middle east --- then this is the nokia vertu business model to juice up some sales (which surprisingly vertu is working well according to a recent news report).

Perhaps RIM should have Porsche design a native email client. Might be ugly, but at least they'd have one.

Oh yeah. Forgot. POS2 is coming any day now and it might have one. We should hold our breath.

Looks like a done up bold 9900. I'm sure it will be pricy so my attitude is if I could afford it then it's cool just like the car, if I can't I just think you look like an a$$hole for having one. haha

Seriously I'd rather have an AT&T Bold 9900
