I have a MSN e-mail account and I have MSN Premium internet software. I pay $10 a month for it - really for nothing.

I contacted MSN tonight and asked if I cancelled my service, could I still keep the MSN e-mail address. They said I could, BUT...

"Email cannot be set up using Pop3 email protocol"

I didn't understand what that meant, so I told them that I had a Blackberry that I used my msn e-mail with and they said that if my MSN email address is set up via Pop3 access on my mobile device, it maynot work anymore. They then asked me if my email account was set up via pop3 server on my mobile device.

I don't know. I don't mean to appear ignorant, but this is not something I know the answer to.

I really want to cancel it because I don't need to pay $10 a month for nothing, but if it isn't going to work on my Blackberry, I might have to reconsider. I've had this address for years.

Can anyone answer this for me? Many thanks in advance!
