Have just bought a bb 8100, have put the battery in and an icon comes up in the middle of the screen. Its a battery with a stroke through it. Just stays on screen, won't charge up. Any ideas???
Generally that occurs with a battery that is not compatible with that Blackberry and the handheld OS does not recognize it. Make sure it is the correct battery for that model.
