I just bought my blackberry 8330 Curve, and I am trying to download the desktop manager from the cd it came with, and I'm getting an error right off the bat. I am using Vista (surprise!) and here's what I'm getting:
"Error opening installation log file. verify that specified log file location exists and is writeable" I have no idea what this means, much less what to do about it! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I say go to the blackberry website and download dm 4.6 from there and see if it will load. Maybe a bad disk.

I would first try to copy the contents from the cd to your computer and then try installing from the desktop. If that doesn't work, go to the BB website and download from there.
