I am used to having PING!!! Vibrate my phone like it did on past BB's it was very useful as if i heard/felt the quick vibrations i knew whatever the message was it was important. It just makes the regular message noise on the BB10, why? Also is there a setting anywhere to change it to make it vibrate? I don't see one anywhere.

on a sidenote, what is the quick way to ping?
i am new to BB/M but my brother is able to ping me multiple times in a second and I have to press like 3 buttons to ping. I know i am probably doing it wrong, what is the right way?

It's because they haven't made it do that yet.

It's probably one of the many things that previous BlackBerry owners miss about the new platform, which might come back in an update.

Yea future update should bring alot...you have to remember this is the "New" blackberry with a different OS. Bringing every feature over from the other OS probably would have taken to long and would have most likely delayed sales. So i guess as of now its a win/lose but hang in there

clik the BB button then hit the letter p then enter very quickly. Use your left thumb to hit the BB button and hit the letter P and slide quickly down to enter both with your right thumb and you can do it very fast. This is for the older BB's of course.

on the Z10 you can't do it as fast, you have to click the command key at the bottom right while in a chat with the keyboard down. then ping and repeat, it only let's you do three at a time, so after three go back to the hub and back to the conversation quickly and repeat.

Hi Guys, i recently have seen the option in BBM to turn Vibrate on PING! on. then another option to "Level 1 Alert for Ping". Works fine.
Go into BBM swipe down for menu and click into settings, scroll down to bottom and its the last 2 options for vibrate in ping. Enjoy!

You have to turn it on in Bbm, it's there, and it works

With the vibrate on ping, I still find in silent mode this doesent happen.

Shouldn't that be the reason for this feature to let me know when something is urgent?
