So I had T-mobile send a new curve cause my keyboard is not acting right (plus a few scratches lol). Anyway my question is when I get the new one what happens to my pin number and contacts in messenger? Will it change or stay the same?

The PIN is linked to the BB, not the SIM.

Write down the PINS and request from your new Berry or save the contact to you sim card.

Are you on a BES? If so, contacts seems to go over to the next Blackberry. I had three different BBs on the BES and have yet to add PINs again.

No BES. And its ok. there are only a few pins in my berry. no biggie but thanks

I did a full backup from my 8310, and restored it to my 8100. I has all my messenger buddies, and i could send them a message as if i was on their friends list. As soon as you send a message, it will auto add you to their contacts list. they can just delete your old contact info.

hmmm alright. I did a backup when I did the 184 upgrade a few days ago. We shall see.
