    I picked up my first BlackBerry last night (Curve 8330) and love it so far. However, I bought it used so when I go to the BB Messenger and try to setup my account or if I try to go into the Verizon portal and sign up for a new account, it says the PIN is already in use. How do I get that changed so I can access the messenger and portal?

    Contact the previous owner and have them release the PIN from
    their account

    Contacting the previous owner will be your best option. It could be hard to get Verizon to release the PIN if you are not the original owner. However, if you can't reach the previous owner, the second thing to try would be contacting Verizon and explain your situation. You probably have documentation to prove a transfer of ownership.
