Hi everyone!
I want to clear something about phone lock code.
Say that I lost my phone or was stolen but is password protected, then the theft tried to guess it and got all 10 wrong so it'll wipe my personal data right?
So after that will my phone be usable again? Will the thief have a fully functional bb?
If yes, is there a way to lock the phone like when it detects a different sim like on nokias etc?

You can have the PIN locked and render the device unusable.

You can report it to the carrier, as lost or stolen, they will then hopefully have RIM block the PIN, rendering the BB unable to use data, ALSO, they will block the device in their network. HOWEVER, the BB can still be unlocked and used on another GSM network as just a phone.
