Phone Appearance and Colors!
I love how my Bold 9930 looks, in black.
Which made me start thinking.
Obviously it's just my opinion, but what is the appeal of white phones?
To me BlackBerry looks so much better as black!!
Especially with the silver bezel.
But hearing other opinions, it seems I'm the minority and most others prefer white.
What do you prefer?
Also, do you think the the B10 devices have a silver bezel?
Excited about the B10 but haven't decided which one to get.
I love BB.
Don't get me wrong, having a choice of color is great. Choices are good.
I just love the black color so much more. - 12-30-2012, 01:23 PM #2
Really? I'd be genuinely surprised if you were the minority, otherwise it would make much more sense for RIM to launch BlackBerry's in white first, and then in black later, not the other way around as they have done so far. Personally I'm going for black once BB10 is out, I've always felt BlackBerry's look much more polished in black, and the only reason my 9810 is in white is because my carrier no longer had black models at the time.

Black for the guys, white for the girls.
Do as you would be done by and 12 pence to the shilling (or 100 cents to the dollar).

You're probably right. Seems that so many lately prefer white, but likely not the MAJORITY.
I agree the black looks more polished. I'm not a fan of white electronnics overall, though. I was happy when the Nintendo Wii began selling in black too.

I'm leaning towards rockin' the white one due to the fan rendering and the Dev Alpha seen on the web, but I would like to see it in person before pulling the trigger on it.

Is it stark white or more of a cream?

Just my opinion, but the only appeal white berrys have, is being rare. Black devices look so much nicer. Again, just my opinion

Umm, I'm a guy and all of the phones I've owned so far are white. If this was blue vs. pink thing then it would make sense. But since when has white become the femine colour? :S

Black all the way for me. My favorite devices are ones where the screen just blends away with the device (palm pre plus, iPhone 5, bb 9860), and since there will be no buttons on the BB10 phones, makes it much cooler.
all smartphones are tools.
android = 48pc tool set (you"ll eventually find the tool you need, but some assembly required)
iphone = swiss army knife (most of the tools you need in a small, simple to use package)
blackberry = adjustable wrench (sometimes all you need is a wrench)
windows phone = bionic wrench (its different....but it works) - 12-30-2012, 02:03 PM #16

I think I'm going to go with a white one this time around. Although I don't want to wait and want to get the phone as soon as it comes out. So I may have to go with black. I don't get why people think certain colours are for certain sexes. This is 2012, get with the times.

Re: Phone Appearance and Colors!
Why does everyone get so serious about this black and white issue, it's only a bit of fun on my part.
My old 9700 is black and white, made up with a mixture of parts from my wifes old 9700 which was white.
So what does that say for me. OH DEAR. Haha.Do as you would be done by and 12 pence to the shilling (or 100 cents to the dollar).

My first personal BB was a red 8310.
I picked up a white 9810.
Every single day (believe it or not) I go on the AT&T website to see if there is a white 9900 there.
I got my Skyrocket in white.
I got my SGIII in red.
I find black boring.
I pray to the Heavens that Thor has a red Z10 with "For Qbnkelt" inscribed in the back, waiting for me.Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy, and good with ketchup
Isn't it amusing how people who claim to not enjoy CB at all simply can't stay away????
It's because it's CRACKBERRY, the BEST BB site....

I just don't like white cause unless you clean it all the time it gets and looks dirty. Some might say that's a good thing cause you would have clean phone.
