It's last update was today, so you got your 2017. If you want answers from BlackBerry, write them an email. If your want answers from CrackBerry...well, I guess you have to wait. It's sort of a broad question. It's like asking "Is Windows 7/8/10 still secure".

The cryptography of PGP is as solid as ever, it's the implementation of it that can cause issues. There are plenty of very good, and thorough, how to's that can be found on the web.

Sounds to me like the OP is thinking of those third-party PGP-enabled, all other functions crippled handsets that were able to be cracked. In this case, it was a sloppy implementation of the protocol that caused the issue.

There was a company selling PGP phones that authorities were able to get lots of user info and messages out of.... but that was because they were able to get access to that companies servers. It wasn't an issue with PGP, but in the implementation of its use.

PGP is still considered a secure encryption tool... the weak points are usually at the end point.

That company's name was probably (ennetcom).. he gave everything to the police..
On a year base our company spend more then 50k in euros on the Pgp systems..
Lots of company's where you can buy the anonymous systems but it's so easy to jeopardize the servers..
I am not a wizkid but something has to be done to eliminate the server issue..
