Whenever I place a call on my pearl, the receiver of the call sees it as a private number. The lady at AT&T couldn't fix it, but they aren't BB experts. Does anyone know how to get my # to show?

Go to Phone Options, General Settings, then the option that says "Restrict my Identity" should be set to "Off"

That should fix your problem

I don't have a "General Settings" under "Options"

open the call log>berry button>options>general options>"restrict my identity"/either network determined or never>show "My Number"/yes>hit the back button, (arrow to the right of the ball" )and select save.... Boney poof....

In the Phone app, hit the BB button, and scroll down to Options. Under there, you should find General Settings and change the option for Restrict My Identity. I just checked this on my Curve.

There are two options within the phone options...

Hit the dial key once in order to view your call log.
Hit the menu key and scroll to Options
After going into Options, go into General Options

There is 'Restrict My Identity' and 'Show "My Number":'

Ensure it's set to 'Never' for the first and "Yes" for the second.
