On the ATT website, there is a feature that you can add to your plan called Telenav GPS Navigator Unlimited. If I don't have this feature do I need to pay per KB i use with Telenav? I have Blackberry Personal Bundle (Unlimited Internet and messages) but does telenav come under this plan?

Yes, it is include in that plan.

To my knowledge, paying for your data plan and paying for Telenav are two completely separate things.

I pay 9.99 for telenav on top of my unlimited data plan.

They give you a month trial, don't they?

see if you like it and willing to pay for it, ( personally I like it but I don't want to pay extra since I got standard GPS + 8310, ).
or you could tray Google Map or BB map

I do not pay telnav no more. I use BB maps and Google maps with the Freedom keychain Gps 2000. This is a gps that work with my BB via bluetooth. Works perfectly fo me.

Telnav charges 9.95 per month, or you can get Garmin and pay once a year.

The voice commands are really cool!
