I think it is much more balanced with the same biases depending on which forum you ask the question in. The reasons for this I believe are:

• The cost of each device
• The target demographic for each device
• The size of each device
• The hardware/features of each device
• Discounts

The biggest reasons for acquiring the Z30 over the Z10 are:

• Better antenna array/technology
• More powerful internal hardware
• FM radio
• Miracast
• Larger display (5" vs. 4.2")
• USB-OTG
• Four microphones and stereo speakers, and the
• Much larger battery (2880 mAh vs. 1800 mAh)

I agree. I definitely think if the space bar on the passport was the touchpad instead of the whole think I'd like it more!

I have used both the passport and the classic and for me, I like the speed and screen on the passport, but I like the keyboard, simplicity and form factor of the Classic.

Both devices are well built and are two great products designed for two different audiences. Just my two cents.

Not same at all. The Z30 didn't have enough improvements over the Z10 and came out too soon after. The Passport has huge improvements in screen PPI and SOC. Had the Z30 had a 1080 screen it would have been a no brainer for the upgrade. Since it didn't I waited until the price was very cheap to upgrade and it appeared like BlackBerry might not realease a compelling major jump from the Z10 any time soon.
