Have a BB 8700. Having trouble synching up my Motorola H700. It used to work and now doesn't. Deleted and reinstalled. It seems to indicate it is paired but never really does. occasionally gets stuck on "waiting for H700". Tried a new headset with same results. Any help would be appreciated
I am having the exact problem with my 8700g. It started approximately July 30. I sent the original H700 back (that had been working since last October) and just got a replacement in the mail. Same exact problem with the new H700 - shows it as paired but there is no sound through the H700 speaker and you can't talk through the H700 either. Has anyone found help on the blackberry.com or motorola support website? I tried (unsuccessfully) to download the latest handheld software v4.2.1.9 (I have v4.1.0.346 currently on the bb) but it would not load for me - thought that might have been able to fix the issue but still has not worked.
Switched to the Jawbone! No issue with pairing, and works great!! The clearest sound people (on the other end) have head on a bluetooth device. Give it a try!
I upgraded to 4.2 last night and the H700 and bluetooth is now working. Looks like it was a BB software issue, not an H700 issue. Hopefully it keeps workign now!
I am having simmilar issues with my H700 and my Pearl 8100. My head set has connected fine, but I get no notification when the phone rings through the head set. I've missed multiple calls because I never hear any ringing or anything. I have to put my phone on vibrate before I get any tone or anything through the headset.
