    Hello,

There might be a better thread for this post but I am new and not sure where it would belong.

I would like to be able to have MSN, Skype, etc running in the background. I receive a lot of emails a day. I would also like to be able to access the internet quickly. I would also like to be able to take half decent photos when needed for memories, etc.

T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8520 (1GB fair usage policy) 20 for 6 months internet access
Orange BlackBerry Curve 8520 (50MB fair usage policy) 5 per month for internet access
Orange BlackBerry Bold 9700 (50MB fair usage policy) 5 per month for internet access
Orange BlackBerry Curve 8900 (50MB fair usage policy) 5 per month for internet access

    Thanks in advanced.

You answered your own question: Bold 9700.

Insane battery life = run whatever you want in the background with minimal effects on daily usage, battery still kicking good. Access Internet quickly = Bold 9700 has 3G connectivity should you utilize that for quick access to Internet, half decent photos = it has a 3.2 Megapixel camera with flash.

What about the monthly usage? Would I go over that? Also is the Bold worth 110 more do you think?

+1 on the 9700. I do not count myself a heavy user (lots of e-mail, light on Twitter and FaceBook, generous surfing) and my monthly usage runs about 70Mb. To me a 50Mb limit seems small but I may be wrong.

The 9700 is worthy at any price one finds affordable IMHO.

You'd have to be extremely carefull about what you do data-wise, but they are right: If you can get a 9700 for ONLY 110, go for it. You can always change the limit on your 'plan' later on right?

110 more, 350 + topup altogether. You can't change the limit.
