Hello,
Up until today I never had a problem, but now any OTA link i click on starts to download and then says "download failed"

I havent done anything different since yesterday

I have an 8900 with OS 5.0.0.411

Please help

an failed OTA could be caused by several reasons. 1) bad link 2) bad file 3) not enough memory 4) the hoster's server is down.

What OTA files are they? Themes, pictures, ringtones?

Are you trying to DL them all from the same site?

Have you tried a battery pull?

yes they are themes from the crackberry forum....8900 themes

other people have said its working fine....

I tried some other OTA links in some forums and get the same result.

It downloads and then right at completion says "download failed"

When i click details it says invalid COD 907

i dont know what else i can do.

Service is fine, calls emails etc all fine, even tried going on wifi and that was fine

I just wonder why i never had this problem before since i never did a browser fix before. Is it possible to just happen out of nowhere??

Out of nowhere, doubtful. You more than likely did something to your OS. It's missing a service book in the browser daemon cod.

I can't get a link to work. I have Vista and can't figure out what am doing wrong.
Foxfire is my browser. I am not computer stupid either HA ! but this makes me feel like I am I want to get some themes from here and don't know what am doing wrong

im so disappointed.

Followed the steps, did the browser fix, everything went well.

Browser works, made sure the settings were right

Go to the OTA file and same thing "download failed'

That makes no bloody sense at all. I'd say make sure you're not on WiFi, but that shouldn't matter either. Check your settings one more time, and try a couple different links. If it fails, post one. I forgot to delete the theme off, and really don't want to reboot now, but I'll try something else that fails to confirm it for you.

WAIT UPDATE!!!!

did one more reboot since everything was completed and the svc books resent etc and now it works!
