I was wondering if anyone knew of an application, or could make one, that displayed a compass, latitude and longitude, direction, speed in different measurements, and so on. I plan on beginning flight training soon, and thought something like this would be useful. Any ideas?

You could check out Signal Loc. It's not "pretty" but it does a great job of giving GPS details...including # of satellites, lat/long/alt, heading, speed.
