    when will OS 7.1.0.580 be out for bold 9790 because it is already out for 9900 and torch 9350 and curve

    There's no guarantee that .580 will release for any other devices... it doesn't work like that.

    Besides, OS .580 hasn't released for the 9900, or any GSM device yet. Only for CDMA devices.

    A little off topic..but does the 9790 have the same processor as the 9900/9930? I like how its a little sleeker but i havnt heard much about it

    The 9790 has a 1g processor whereas the 9900 has a 1.2g unit. Otherwise it's much the same only a lot smaller. It does have an AF camera which the 9900 doesn't.

    Couldn't get on with the 9790 myself but I guess that's a personal thing.

    I thought that too when it first came out. But once I got mine I knew right away I was wrong. The 9900/9930 is a bigger device but not by much. It's a solidly built device, which is great.
