I have a 9650 Bold with sprint, I use the HTC EVO right now and I hate the vitrual keyboard. I've had a phone with a real key board for 7+years and I can't stand the fact that I don't have any real buttons to press.

My question is this. OS5 on the 9650 is crap. The processor can't handle it. I want to put OS4 (fail lolz) back on the bold but sprint says that they can't. I have a mac and I'm somewhat computer smart. How do I put OS4 back on my bold? Please help me, I'm fed up with my evo.

You can't. There was never any OS 4.X builds made for the 9650, and you can't install an OS that wasn't made for the phone.

The 9650 came out with OS5. There is no OS4 to load for it. I'd suggest a good OS6 hybrid, such as http://forums.crackberry.com/hybrid-...-400-a-654428/

I also recommend that hybrid, but you'll need to use boot camp or virtualbox to install it, as it's windows only.
Install it over 6.0.0.587.

Just download the desktop manager for mac and then check software, it should have an option for other version and OS5 should be an option to go back to. At least it was on my 9700 on AT&T

He's wanting to go away from OS5 down to 4.7, which wasn't available for the 9650. It launched with OS5, which is the lowest he can go.
