OK - so now that I have the new OS on the 8700 my messages screen isn't full screen. Anyone have any ideas how to get it full screen? It wasn't like this in 4.1 and all of the other apps are full screen.

UPDATE - seems it's because of the header on the home page. I notice the messages screen goes only to the header with the time, date, battery life, etc..... still...anyway to change it?

Changed the font - no luck. This is also happening when I answer the phone. I have attached two screenshots. In the phone example the header is on the bottom and causes the same problem.

Looks like it might be a function of the theme - if so, does anyone know of any other theme aside from Zen that puts the icons on the side of the screen?

I suggest you blur the numbers off your one screenshot.

Also, it does the same for me, it's basically pushing the wallpaper down, in order to show the incoming call. It's theme related, and you'd have to find one more suitable...

any consolation i have the same issue, but to be honest it never worried me as i didnt notice

But it wont stop me using Zen.

Although i must ask Ivan if he managed to get the other Theme working

That's just how 4.2 works. Looks the same on my 8800 and my wife's Pearl.
