So my q10 has a small crack on the corner JUST missing the display. So it's not a HUGE deal but it just bothers me. And I honestly dont know how it got there. It's kind of strange; there was what looked like a chipped piece of glass (like the diameter of a pen) and later I saw a crack connecting through that chip. Anyway, what are my options? Buy a new display? I have no insurance or anything.

Take it to a mobile phone repair kiosk, might be a couple of days before you get it back but they can certainly fix it.

What's the average price? And don't they usually only carry the more popular phone screens? I was looking online and they're about 120 dollars but I know kiosks somehow get things really cheap.

Have you tried a battery pull? Haha jokes aside

If you are somewhat handy with tools, do it yourself. A kiosk most likely will buy parts from the same source you will, but will charge a hefty price. My guess will be $150 to replace a Q10 screen, where as you can find them on ebay for roughly $75-$90
Up to you I guess though.

Yeah I'd say about $150 with supply of parts and work. I took my old Bold 9900 with a cracked screen and had it fixed within 2 weeks for $100 but the crack was minor and the screen on the Bold is small hence my estimate for a higher charge on the Q. Let us know what you decide to do.

I actually decided to get a brand new phone. The crack started getting bigger from putting on the table and pocket and what not. I sold it dirt cheap. Anyway, now my new Q10 has a weird space key that is creaky and somewhat loose. I'm hoping it breaks in or I can somehow get it fixed. Other than that, it feels so much better not having a cracked screen!
