i was told to try the OperaMini browser on blackberry.... so i went their site and got it downloaded... the next step says to "locate Opera Mini on your phone among other Java applications"

Problem is I have no idea how to locate the java applications... to even look for the new browser.

Does anyone out there know what I should do next???

    THANKS!!!!

Did you download it with your desktop computer? Try downloading it with your BB browser. Most of the install is automatic

Go to mini.opera.com on your BlackBerry Browser. The application will download and automatically install.

Then look for the icon (It's a big red "O".) on your BlackBerry screen.

Applications you download are tossed into the "Downloads" folder.

There's no such folder on the Verizon Curve. Just look on the screen for the icon.

Be sure that your Browser Emulation is set to "BlackBerry". Applications won't install if it's set to something else.
