Okay... So I set up a pwd for the password manager awhile back and didn't write it down! Now I can't remember what I set it as!! I'm on attempt 4/10... What happens if I use all attempts?? And what use is the password manager anyways?
Ugh! I feel so stupid!!

Ahhh crap that can't be good. If everything is backed up... It won't matter right? The device will still be usable? Does it wipe the sd too? Ahhhhh!! I think I'm gonna cry.

Wait before you panic. It will wipe all the information you stored
in P/W manager and reset that app. The rest of your phone will
be unaffected. And no wipe at all will touch the micro SD card.
As to it's use it is for storing info you can't readily recall, such as
PIN numbers, Credit Card info, alarm codes, website logons, and
well, passwords.

Out of curiousity and for the sake of completeness of info. If you backup using desktop manager and in the unfortunate event you forget the password and end up with the info contained in password manager erased is it possible to restore the info to it but not restore along with that the password that resulted in all of the info to be erased?
I hope that wording isn't confusing.
