I don't know what's more disturbing. The fact that Google's head is not using an Android phone or the fact that the Blackberry he's chosen to use is the 9900.

I don't remember his name but a member of apples board use to use a BlackBerry. Some people just prefer a keyboard. Besides the best way to keep track of what the competition is doing and how your product stacks up is to use their product.

Unless you guys are referring to another thread with these same photos, which were taken today, I don't think it's fair to call this old news. The last time he was photographed with a bb was quite a while ago (about when the 9900 was a top model iirc). Thanks for sharing them.

I'm more disturbed by his decision to still carry the 9900, but I've seen more people do it. Phone is a communication beast and a real beauty

I think it is time to do an experiment. If we take his Blackberry away would Google turn into Yahoo? Hmmm Mr. Chen, I wonder.

exactly. I think the last ones were about 18 months ago, and I had heard he had moved to the Moto X full-time. I guess not.

...and the trackpad. Nobody every wrote a scientific journal article or a book on a all-touchscreen device... but there are lots of anecdotes about people writing books (or great portions of them) on their BBOS devices. Without the trackpad, long-form document composition is painful.
