Hey everyone, i tried using the search function but couldnt find an answer to my question so here it goes:

A friend of mine owns a blackberry. I sent her a short text message like 2 months ago with a couple of friends phone numbers listed on it (don't know if that has anything to do with it). For some reason, everytime i send her a new text message now.....that old text is attached at the end.

So there will be my new text message and the old one at the bottom almost looks like a signature. Even lists the original date and time. Has anyone ever had this problem?

I had this problem when I accidently saved a certain text from a friend. So whenever I'd create a new one, the saved one also popped up. Go to your SMS, click on View Saved Messages and see if its there.

Go to Options > SMS Text... from there you can change "Number Of Previous Items," which I believe is what you're looking for. If you change the number to zero(0), then your previous messages won't be attached to replied messages. Each number represents how many messages are kept on your text message... kind of like a chat session.

Yeppers. No problem. Just glad to know that I could help someone on here. I've only had my Curve for a short while, so you're the first I've actually been able to help.
