    October 31st is a Saturday... When has BlackBerry ever done anything significant on a weekend? Should have went with something in a Thursday as the premise of your ruse...

    October 31st is a Saturday. I highly doubt BB is making any major announcements on a Saturday. Then again, it wouldn't shock me that they'd pick a weekend to make a major announcement that no one would see.
