I am at home and my Wifi strength is always strong. However occasionally I notice that the phone would drop wifi once in a while. I am in .246

anyone notice this on their phone? any one know why?

Could be a router compatibility issue, could be an occasional reception problem, could be an OS problem.

You could try updating to .337 and updating the firmware on your router.

My router is the Linksys (now Cisco) 802.11 B/G WRT54G. I think this is one of the most reliable Wifi router even though it's pretty old school. I have a WPA personal security.

I have updated the firmware to the latest FW available on linksys website. I do know that there are many other unofficial FW but I always stick to the latest official one.

I'd try updating the OS then, .337 seems very solid so far.

No you're not. When I had 265 my wifi would drop in and out every 40 minutes or so... It was being logged down by smartwifi. Since I have updated to .337 I have not got a drop out since
