What does the number mean that appears in the dashboard for bb maps?
It says 0 mph on the left side, then in the middle there is a symbol and a number 8.
What does that 8 mean????

No, the satellites run just fine. I'm just sitting still. but when i have used it, it does get the mph correct.

The number in the middle is the number of satelites the phone is receiving location data from....or another way to say it is the number of satelites the phone is "locked on to".

Oh man that's funny, it's kinda like when the blond called the fire department and reported a fire in her apartment, they asked "how do we get there?" to which she replied "Duh...big red truck".....
