Hi - seems that all phone numbers that I save have a "1" in front of them when I dial them. The "1" does not appear when I look the number up in my BB...only when I dial.

This, of course, is necessary in the US. However....I am abroad & it stops the call from going through. How can I get rid of the "1"....?

Go to call log>menu>options>smart dialing>use "1" for national dialing: NO

not necessary when I dial in the US, only when dialing from a landline.
I get connected quicker without using the 1....
