Not hip clip (Project)
I wish I would have taken pictures when I did this so i could post them and share with everyone, but I did not.
I use the 8830 WE and i keep my phone in my pocket. This made it impossible to hear my phone ring. For everyone that enjoys keeping his or her phone pocketed but wants the case protection and alternate profile setup it allows, I have a free solution. All you need is the case that came with the phone, a screwdriver, a drill, and some epoxy.
Step one. Take the BB out of the case. We will be drilling.
Step two. Use the screwdriver to remove the plastic rivet covers.
Step three. Use a drill to take the back part of the rivet off. This is the only thing connecting the two pieces of leather together on the back so don't worry about the leather flap you have created. The other side of the rivet is sewn into the leather so you just have the screw driver to push the remaining part down past the leather.
Step four. Apply the epoxy to the leather flap and place it on the back of the case. Let this dry over night and test that the epoxy has fully dried.
Rockin' right? If you have any further improvements let me know!

It sounds good, but pictures would help.
The theater of the mind isn't quite cutting it.

Well if i had another case i would show you some pics as i did it. that would require me to go buy a new case and that ruins the free part of the project. If you want to mail me a case I will bod it for you and then mail it back.
