    Great idea.
But why would Nokia take the risk to switch to a platform that their own creator don't believe in and developers jumping the ship because of joke support?

The old Nokia had phones and tablets wit Maemo and Meego before Blackberry OS10,
They had the best technology and developers and they were not able to show it to masses.

Unfortunately, most people think that Nokia had only symbian, such as most people think that blackberry is still using the previous operating system...

Nokia isn't what it used to be though, nobody cares for them and they no longer have the near unlimited resources they had back in 2008.

    It would be pointless.

Nokia hardware and Blackberry BB10 software would have been good but too late, as both are using Android operating systems, Android/ Apple IOS is the choice what an outlook, still can enjoy BB10 for a few more years yet.

you mean microsoft kept the nokia smart phone line for in house? and sold feature phone only to foxconn? OP, which "Nokia" you are talking about? Nokia - listed on stock exchange do not have phone anymore - net work only i believe... Microsoft? did they mold into window phone? or Foxconn? very confusion... Actually, HMD Global (the Foxconn subsidiery) licensed exclusive rights to the Nokia brand name for ALL phones - it's just that Microsoft only gave them the feature phone tech and employees as part of the deal. This announcement says that they plan to make both phones and tablets under the Nokia brand, and if they're making tablets, you can bet they'll be making both feature phones and smartphones (and in fact HMD Global has since made that clear in another annoucement: that they'd be releasing a line of Nokia-branded Android smartphones).

Well it would be cool than Nokia and BlackBerry join in making BlackBerry 10 phones, but Nokia isn't a "independent" company that can make choices like that alone, Nokia right now is Just a name, a name than Microsoft sold to Foxconn, Foxcon is the truly "Nokia" right now, in fact Foxcon Just payed for a name and patents, which name maybe Will be productive in selling units because people Will think than Nokia effectively returned as a standalone company, a confusion that Will help Foxconn at selling more, so the person (or in this case company), that can sell and build devices with Nokia brand and BlackBerry 10 software in is Foxconn, and Nokia (Foxconn) already have a dead OS for niche markets (W10 M) so BlackBerry 10 is (one more time) doomed

Nokia as a company is still around, they only sold their phone division to Microsoft. The name for phones has only been licensed, the rights to which are now held by a company called HMD Global (founded by former Nokia devices/Microsoft employees).

And also some ex employees of nokia created Jolla which is using SailfishOS (based in Mer OS; a linux OS for mobiles) .

Maybe it has sense to think in a Nokia return, using technology made in Finland, and also a non Android OS, such as Sailfish but emulating Android in order to use the huge amount of existing apps, in the same way that BB10 or Sailfish do.

Nokia has the name and a historical of success, so a hypothetical return could create expectations and marketing.
Unfortunately I don't see the same expectations with BB, which is still a very recent corpse.

IMHO BB should chose QNX for the core but they should chose a UI and front end compatible with the other existing linux Oses (Meego ,...) because when you are not the giant, standards an collaboration is much more profitable than reinventing the wheel.

Back then, Blackberry and Nokia had kind of a relationship regarding OS, and Lazaridis-Balsillie screwed them. I don't see how can they go the same path all over again.
