for some reason my phone has stopped ringing, playing any ringtunes or making any sound whatsoever, but it still functions fully as a phone - ie I can make and receive calls and hear the caller just fine. It is just the external speaker that stops working. I can sometimes fix it by turning off and on and by removing the battery. Any thoughts.

what is the profile set at? do you have the handset muted? i know non flip BB's have a mute button on top.
